This is a reconstitution and drawing-up needle: the wide bore moves thick product and powders-in-solution quickly, and the 40mm length reaches into larger vials. Clinics reconstituting PLLA or mixing powder products get through these. Pack of 10.

Choosing gauge and length

BD colour-codes by gauge, so the hub tells you what you are holding. 30G yellow / 13mm for superficial and fine work. 27G grey / 13mm for general filler and booster use. 25G orange / 16mm for thicker gels and deeper placement. 23G blue / 25mm for drawing up and transfer. 21G green / 40mm — reconstitution and drawing up (this one). 18G pink / 40mm for the thickest product.
